REFUND AND RETURNS POLICY

Dragonfly Miami

1. Overview

At Dragonfly Miami (“Dragonfly Miami,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we are committed to providing quality products, accurate product information, and professional customer service.

This Refund and Returns Policy establishes the terms and procedures governing return requests, refunds, exchanges, product inspections, and warranty-related claims for purchases made through our website.

Because we sell consumer electronics, smart devices, smart glasses, earbuds, smartwatches, accessories, and other technology products, all returned products may be subject to a thorough inspection before a return, replacement, or refund is approved.

Customers are encouraged to review this policy and contact our customer service team before purchasing if they have questions about a product.

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude or limit any consumer rights or remedies that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

2. Return Request Period

Customers must contact Dragonfly Miami within 30 calendar days of delivery to request a return, unless a different period is stated for a particular product or a different period is required by applicable law.

A return request must include, where applicable:

  • Order number or proof of purchase.

  • Customer name and contact information.

  • Description of the reason for the return.

  • Photographs or videos showing the product and the reported issue, when reasonably requested.

Submitting a return request does not automatically guarantee approval. Each request will be evaluated according to the reason for the return, the product’s condition, the applicable warranty, and applicable law.

Customers must receive return authorization and instructions from Dragonfly Miami before sending a product back.

The 30-day request period does not eliminate any longer warranty coverage or other rights that may apply under law.

3. Mandatory and Thorough Product Inspection

Every returned product will undergo a thorough inspection, appropriate to the product and the reported issue, to determine whether the problem results from a manufacturing defect, customer-caused damage, misuse, improper handling, unauthorized modification, or another identifiable cause.

Our inspection process may include:

  • Verification of the product model, serial number, identification labels, and order records.

  • Examination of the product’s exterior, housing, screen, connectors, buttons, charging ports, and included accessories.

  • Functional testing of power, charging, battery operation, audio, display, connectivity, sensors, and other applicable features.

  • Inspection for cracks, impact marks, scratches beyond ordinary wear, liquid exposure, corrosion, overheating, electrical damage, or signs of tampering.

  • Testing of relevant software, firmware, settings, and functions to reproduce the reported issue.

  • Review of the product’s condition in relation to the reported problem and the manufacturer’s specifications.

  • Photographic or video documentation of relevant findings, where appropriate.

  • Consultation with the manufacturer or an authorized technical service provider when necessary.

Not every procedure will apply to every product. The inspection methods will depend on the product type and the nature of the claim.

Products may be tested to determine whether a reported issue can be reproduced and whether the device functions according to its stated specifications.

Opening the packaging, testing the product, or using it as reasonably necessary to identify a reported defect does not, by itself, establish customer misuse.

Dragonfly Miami may document the inspection findings and retain relevant records to support a fair and consistent evaluation of each claim.

4. Determining the Cause of a Product Problem

Following inspection, Dragonfly Miami will evaluate the available evidence to determine the likely cause of the reported problem.

A. Confirmed Manufacturing Defects

A manufacturing defect may include a failure resulting from defective materials, workmanship, or an internal component that prevents the product from functioning as represented.

If a qualifying manufacturing defect is confirmed within the applicable return or warranty period, Dragonfly Miami will determine the appropriate remedy according to the applicable warranty, the circumstances of the claim, and applicable law.

Depending on the circumstances, available remedies may include:

  • Repair of the product.

  • Replacement with the same model or a comparable product, subject to availability and applicable requirements.

  • Refund of the eligible purchase amount when required by law or otherwise authorized under the applicable policy.

Where a refund or another remedy is legally required, this policy will not be used to deny that remedy.

B. Customer-Caused Damage or Improper Use

A return or warranty claim may be denied to the extent permitted by applicable law if the inspection establishes that the reported problem was caused by customer misuse, accidental damage, improper handling, or another cause excluded under the applicable warranty.

Examples may include:

  • Cracked screens, broken housings, bent connectors, or impact damage.

  • Liquid exposure, moisture intrusion, or corrosion inconsistent with the product’s stated protection rating or intended use.

  • Improper charging, incompatible power supplies, electrical misuse, or unauthorized electrical modifications.

  • Damage caused by dropping, crushing, mishandling, or improper storage.

  • Unauthorized opening, repairs, modifications, or tampering that caused or contributed to the reported issue.

  • Damage caused by failure to follow the manufacturer’s operating or safety instructions.

  • Missing components or accessories where the available evidence indicates removal or loss after delivery.

Ordinary wear, the absence of original packaging, or the fact that a product has been used will not automatically establish customer-caused damage.

Any denial must be based on the circumstances and available evidence, rather than an unsupported assumption about the cause of the problem.

C. Inconclusive Inspection Results

In some cases, the inspection may not conclusively establish whether a problem originated during manufacturing or resulted from another cause.

When this occurs, Dragonfly Miami will review the available evidence, applicable warranty terms, and any relevant manufacturer or technical assessment before determining the appropriate next step.

We will not describe an unconfirmed cause as a proven fact. Any applicable legal rights and remedies will remain unaffected.

5. No Returns for Change of Mind or Subjective Expectations

Dragonfly Miami strives to provide accurate product descriptions, photographs, specifications, and other information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.

A return or refund will not be approved solely because a customer changes their mind, regrets the purchase, no longer wants the product, dislikes it after purchase, or decides that the product was not what they personally expected, where applicable law permits this restriction.

Examples of reasons that do not, by themselves, establish a valid defect claim include:

  • The customer simply changed their mind after ordering.

  • The customer no longer needs the product.

  • The product does not match the customer’s subjective taste or personal preference.

  • The customer expected different features despite the specifications disclosed before purchase.

  • The customer purchased a product that was incompatible with their device despite available compatibility information.

  • The customer found a different product they prefer after completing the purchase.

  • The product works according to its stated specifications, but the customer is dissatisfied for a purely subjective reason.

Customers are responsible for reviewing the available product information, specifications, dimensions, compatibility requirements, included accessories, and stated features before placing an order.

Personal preferences, buyer’s remorse, or expectations inconsistent with the product’s disclosed specifications do not, by themselves, establish that a product is defective.

All claims alleging a manufacturing defect will be evaluated under the inspection procedures in this policy.

This section does not apply where a refund, replacement, repair, or other remedy is required by applicable law, including qualifying claims involving manufacturing defects, products materially different from their descriptions, incorrect shipments, or other legally protected circumstances.

6. Customer Assistance Before Purchase

At Dragonfly Miami, we encourage customers to ask questions and obtain the information they need before completing a purchase.

Before placing an order, customers may contact our customer service team to ask questions, clarify product specifications, confirm compatibility, and request additional product information.

Where available, we can provide:

  • Additional photographs of the product.

  • Videos demonstrating the product or its features.

  • Clarification of technical specifications and functions.

  • Information about dimensions, colors, included accessories, and compatibility.

  • Additional explanations to help customers understand what they are purchasing.

We encourage customers to take advantage of this service to make sure the product is suitable for their needs, preferences, and expectations before placing an order.

Customers who are uncertain about a product are encouraged to contact us before purchasing rather than relying on assumptions about features or performance that are not stated in the product listing.

By completing a purchase, customers acknowledge that they have had the opportunity to review the available product information and contact Dragonfly Miami with questions before ordering.

Because we make these resources available to support informed purchasing decisions, a return will not be accepted solely because a customer later decides that the product does not meet their personal expectations or preferences, subject to the terms of this policy and applicable law.

This provision does not waive any rights relating to genuine defects, inaccurate or materially misleading product descriptions, incorrect items, or other circumstances protected by law.

7. Product Condition and Return Requirements

Unless otherwise authorized by Dragonfly Miami or required by applicable law, returned products should include:

  • The original product.

  • Included accessories, cables, chargers, and other supplied components.

  • Original packaging, where reasonably available.

  • Manuals and other materials supplied with the product.

  • Proof of purchase or order information.

Customers should package returned products securely to prevent additional damage during transportation.

Before returning an electronic device, customers should back up their personal data, remove personal accounts where appropriate, disable activation locks where possible, and perform a factory reset when appropriate and safe to do so.

Dragonfly Miami is not responsible for personal information left on a returned device, subject to applicable privacy and consumer protection laws.

Missing packaging or accessories will be evaluated in context and will not automatically invalidate a legitimate defect claim.

8. Damaged, Incorrect, or Missing Items

Customers should inspect their orders upon delivery and contact Dragonfly Miami promptly if:

  • A product arrives visibly damaged.

  • An incorrect product was delivered.

  • An item or accessory is missing.

  • The shipment appears incomplete or materially different from the order.

Please provide the order number and, where reasonably available, photographs of the product, shipping box, packaging, and shipping label.

We may review order records, shipping documentation, and other relevant evidence and coordinate with the shipping carrier or fulfillment provider.

Dragonfly Miami will evaluate the circumstances and provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

Customers will not be denied a legally required remedy for damage or errors attributable to Dragonfly Miami or its fulfillment and shipping obligations.

9. Return Shipping

Customers must follow the return instructions provided by Dragonfly Miami.

Unless otherwise stated or required by law:

  • Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs for approved change-of-mind or other non-defective returns.

  • For confirmed defective, incorrect, or otherwise qualifying returns, Dragonfly Miami will provide or reimburse return shipping as required by applicable law and the applicable policy.

  • Products must be packaged appropriately to minimize the risk of additional damage during return shipping.

Customers should retain the return tracking number and proof of shipment until the claim has been resolved.

Products should not be sent to an address that has not been authorized by Dragonfly Miami.

10. Refund Eligibility and Processing

Refunds are subject to review of the return request and, where applicable, receipt and inspection of the returned product.

Once an eligible refund is approved, it will generally be issued to the original payment method unless another method is agreed upon or required by law.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment processor, bank, or financial institution.

Shipping fees, expedited shipping charges, discounts, promotional credits, and other transaction charges will be handled according to the original order, the applicable policy, and applicable law.

Where a refund is required by law, Dragonfly Miami will comply with the applicable refund amount and deadline.

We will not use the inspection process to delay or withhold a legally required refund beyond the permitted timeframe.

11. Exchanges and Replacements

Exchanges and replacements are subject to product availability, inspection findings, applicable warranty terms, and applicable legal requirements.

If a product is confirmed defective and qualifies for a replacement, Dragonfly Miami may replace it with the same model or, where appropriate and agreed upon, a comparable product if the original model is unavailable.

Where a particular remedy is required by law, that legal requirement will take precedence over this section.

12. Electronic Products and Special Return Conditions

Certain products, including earbuds, headphones, smart glasses, smartwatches, rechargeable devices, and personal electronics, may require additional inspection because of hygiene, activation, battery, software, or security considerations.

Any hygiene-related restriction, software activation limitation, or other product-specific return condition will be disclosed where required and applied consistently with applicable law.

These conditions will not be used to exclude a valid claim involving a manufacturing defect or another remedy required by law.

13. Warranty Claims

Products sold by Dragonfly Miami may be covered by a manufacturer’s warranty or a separate warranty offered by Dragonfly Miami.

Warranty coverage, duration, exclusions, and claim procedures vary by product and are governed by the applicable warranty documentation and law.

A warranty claim may require troubleshooting, photographs, videos, product inspection, or examination by the manufacturer or an authorized technical service provider.

Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or unauthorized modifications may be excluded from warranty coverage to the extent permitted by the applicable warranty and law.

This policy does not limit any applicable express warranty, implied warranty, or other legal protection that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Fraud Prevention and Return Abuse

Dragonfly Miami reserves the right to investigate suspected fraudulent returns, product substitutions, altered serial numbers, false defect claims, or deliberate damage.

Where reasonably necessary, we may compare the returned product with order records, serial numbers, photographs, packaging, and other available evidence.

If credible evidence establishes fraud or abuse, Dragonfly Miami may deny the affected claim or take other lawful action, subject to applicable law and mandatory consumer rights.
